"Home recording of TV cartoons is a common form of videotape culture. PVP's videotape collection has a certain amount of cartoon videotapes. A recently purchased cheap videotape labeled "" A-League Anime City"" unexpectedly contained relevant audio and video notes of an unknown historical researcher.
As the 17th work of PVP and the first work in the ""NoteTapes"" series, ""talonas (1991.08.05–1993.06.25)"" presents the following two creative concepts:
1. Both cassettes and videotapes have the ""miscellaneous recording"" function of repeatedly recording, overwriting, and erasing. Like traditional paper notebooks, they can serve as memos or backups and include topics such as inconspicuous, clichéd, important, and current events.
2. When creating this work, PVP took advantage of the overwriting function of cassettes and videotapes to minimize the non-linear editing by computer software. The circuit overlapping of different sources of sound, the manipulation of the video recorder buttons, and the montage constructed by random overlays together form an analog real field.
家庭錄製電視臺動畫片是一種較爲常見的錄像帶文化。我們小組的錄像帶收藏中保有一定量的自錄動畫帶。而最近收購的一盒卷標爲「甲A聯賽 動畫城」的廉價錄像帶卻意外地摻雜了一位不知名的歷史研究者的相關錄音及錄像筆記……
《塔龍那（1991.08.05–1993.06.25）》作爲我們小組的第17部作品兼「記事本錄像」系列的第1作，呈現以下的兩個創作理念：
一、錄音帶和錄像帶都具備反復錄製、覆蓋、消除的「雜錄」功能。它們和傳統的紙質記事本一樣能夠起到備忘或備份的功用，不起眼、陳詞濫調、重要的和正在發生的事物皆可入題。
二、我們小組在創作這部作品時，藉助錄音帶和錄像帶的覆蓋特性，盡可能地減少電腦軟件的非綫性剪輯。而不同聲源的電路叠換、錄像機按鈕的操控與隨機覆蓋而構建的蒙太奇共同形成了一個模擬的真實場域。"
